School Presentations - 1 Hour Assembly Lecture
One in five students deal with food insecurity, with statistics drawing a connection between health and the quality of nutritional or "food" intakes. Obesity, diabetes, pre-diabetes, ADHD and mental health challenges, along with increased rates of cancer in younger populations suggest a disconnect. This school presentment explains the "Sum of Two" as the foundation of a developing TedTalk. The "Sum of Two" details how the human being is the sum of two ingestions.
